Architecture is a type of area that takes in consideration concepts related to techniques, standards and materials that the architectural professional uses to create a space.

Job market: 

The job market for professionals trained in Architecture is expanding in the countries , especially in the civil construction sector. In addition, the public sector has also increased the demand for architects. In Brazil the regions that offer the most vacancies for these professionals are the Southeast and the South .

Here's a point that isn’t good, UCLA has never offered scholarship to international students.  

Costs: 

That point is one that everybody wants to know, so doing a research all the tuition, insurance, and housing expenses can get to a total of around $176,376 for four years. 

Step by step for joining UCLA:

UCLA uses its own selection process, in which everything will depend on the student, so they do not accept letters of recommendation or official transcripts. The student must fill out a form with information that allows them to get an idea of  how the student is as a whole, not just the grades. Applications are made on the university's website. 

For foreigners, it is also necessary to send a transcript, proof of English proficiency, such as TOELF or IELTS.

Work during the project: 

There is nothing specifying if it is allowed or not to work during the time that you will be studying there.  

University Degree in Brazil:

When you study architecture in UCLA indenting to work out of the U.S, you need to get a certificate from the American government declaring that your diploma is authentic (that's the only document used to verify the diploma authenticity and validate it in other countries). Although in Brazil, you will need a higher education institution here to see what you studied and decide if your studies abroad are enough to guarantee you a diploma in this equivalent course, or if you will need to do some additional work or exam to guarantee this equivalence. Only then you can really start practicing architecture in Brazil.
